I first got this game for Christmas (same time I got a PSP) and I really didn't want to try it. When I first popped this into my PSP, I was NOT expecting what I got. This was because I wasn't big on Nascar games at all. To me, Nascar looked a lot like going around an oval track about a billion times, I was more interested in Mario Kart.
The New York track (for me) was the hardest of all tracks, and it felt like I accomplished something when I finished first place. It is by far one of the best PSP games I own (no, I do NOT have a crappy collection). Even though I'm not big on graphics, these are just too big of a plus to not mention. It's not too easy, nor to hard, and the songs get stuck in your head after a while (which is a good think) even though I was only familiar with one song when I got it. At first, it was way to hard for me, but that was jut because I wasn't that much used to racing games, so it took a while to get used to. So I started playing Death Jr and leaving Nascar to the side.
The graphics are AMAZING. If you get this game, you will seriously not regret it. Maybe it was because I played all the wrong racing games, but I just wasn't a fan. I ESPECIALLY did NOT like realistic racing games-it was just way too hard to not crash into a wall while going at insane speeds.
The bad part is that the screen is hard to see. The game is good because you can take it on the road, and its all the fun on the console versions, all in a great handheld system. Overall, the game deserves a 4/5. FINALLY. Something that has not been done since NASCAR 2000, NASCAR on the go.
great game, very good graphics, ability to link with other players is awesome
Great game. Both myself and my kids play NASCAR 2007 and we have great fun competing against each other.
It's a bit tough on the fingers, but that is to be expected for a racing game. I've had the game for about 3 months now and have played it quite a bit. Good graphics, challenging tracks and the fight to the top mode is very challenging.
